Where can I find camp dates and times?
Camp dates are listed on their respective booking pages. Drop-off times typically start at 9 am, and early drop-off options are available on weekdays.
Where are the camps located?
All camp activities take place at Contender eSports Springfield, located at 3010 S National Ave, Springfield, MO, 65804.
How is camp pricing determined?
Camp pricing may vary based on materials, staffing, duration, and curriculum. We reserve the right to adjust booking prices at any time.
Are there any additional costs or fees?
We strive to be simple and transparent about cost. Our registration fees cover the cost of attending camp. There is often an optional early drop-off option and extended pickup time available for an additional charge. These will be communicated in advance.
What are the age recommendations for the camp?
Our STEM camps are recommended for children aged 7 and up. Basic reading, writing, and behavioral skills are required. Younger campers are welcome if accompanied by an older sibling.
What activities can my child expect at camp?
At our STEM camp, your child will engage in hands-on activities and interactive learning experiences related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Each day is filled with exciting projects and challenges
Will my child be on a computer?
Yes, most of our curriculum is computer-based. Our approach takes into account healthy, mindful use of technology. Our stance is that children should be encouraged to use technology in moderation and for enrichment first, entertainment second.
What is the daily schedule like?

What should my child bring to the camp?
Campers should bring a packed lunch and water bottle. Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for indoor activities are recommended. If purchasing food from our Snack Wall, please arrange payment of a meal voucher during morning check-in.
Can my child bring personal electronic devices to the camp?
While personal electronic devices are generally discouraged, we understand that some campers may need them for specific reasons. Please contact us to discuss any special considerations.
How are dietary restrictions and allergies accommodated during lunchtime?
We take dietary needs and allergies seriously. We keep a wide range of snacks and meal options in stock that will accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions. We also have separate seating arrangements to reduce cross-contamination when allergens are present.

Our camps are created by our team of technology experts and professionals. We ensure that our curriculum is based on extensive research. We also acquire applicable curriculum from other providers through the STEM.org network.

Our camp is led by experienced instructors who are passionate about STEM education. Your child will receive expert guidance and support throughout the camp. Our small camp sizes ensure that our instructors are able to provide personalized instruction for each of our campers.
What qualifications do your camp instructors hold?
Our camp instructors are selected from our store staff and additional education partners. They undergo training to ensure they can provide engaging and informative experiences for campers. Importantly, they are equipped with the full curriculum and camp documentation to provide a successful camp experience.
Is there a camp orientation or information session for parents?
Yes, we host monthly family nights for parents to be informed of upcoming camps. These sessions are a great opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns.
How do you ensure the safety of campers?
We prioritize the safety of our campers. Our staff members are trained to provide a secure and fun environment for all participants. Our center is equipped with 24/7 monitoring and fast police response. The building remains locked to outside visitors during camp-only hours.

We accept cash, swipe card payments, chip payments, tap to pay, and cash app. Please make payments in advance to secure your child's spot.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your child's enrollment, you may reach out to our store. We reserve the right to deny refunds if any or all services have been rendered.
What health guidelines are in place at the camp?
The health and well-being of our campers is of utmost importance. We have implemented health and safety measures to ensure a safe environment. These measures include: 1. Limited handling of cash to reduce germ spread. 2. Sanitization of equipment before and after use. 3. No handling of foodstuffs by staff members and no sharing. 4. Hand sanitizer available for staff and children. 5. Campers are instructed to wash hands prior to and after lunch breaks. 6. Strict masking or quarantine for students and staff with fever symptoms.
Do you require any medical information about my child?
If your child has specific medical needs, allergies, or conditions that our staff should be aware of, please provide this information during the check-in process. We are equipped to accommodate food allergies. Our staff are also capable of providing extra care for learning disabilities and other special needs.
How do you address behavioral issues?
Our staff are capable of addressing issues related to focus, respect, or physical safety. However, staff reserve the right to discontinue participation and eventually revoke enrollment for any child who severely disrupts the learning environment.
