When Brett Payne had the idea to start Contender Esports, he wanted to grow the next entertainment industry that helped young adults stay socially connected. Esports was a foreign concept for Brett, but the more he developed the idea of implementing business strategies within gaming centers, he realized how much potential there was for Contender Esports. Now, 4 years later, there are many different business opportunities that Contender Esports is a part of that no one would have guessed in the beginning.
Some good examples of Brett continuing to transform the gaming center industry would be incorporating education into the centers using STEM, adding miniature gaming centers into existing businesses, and partnering with one of the largest IT companies in the world. Four years ago this would not have been possible, but now this is only the tip of the iceberg.
