Contender Esports Hudson Valley received a Certificate of Excellence from I Am Beacon, Inc. for extraordinary partnership and service to the community for implementing a summer esports league for inner-city youth spanning three counties.
EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP
Contender Esports Hudson Valley led a partnership with Dutchess BOCES Educational Resources to provide a one-of-a-kind in-house esports program to the secondary schools in the region, realizing that esports can develop the skills needed to successfully move into areas like programming, computer graphics, or other aspects of video game design.Contender Esports Hudson Valley also achieved vendor approval with Dutchess BOCES Arts in Education and Exploratory Enrichment programs to provide STEM/STEAM services to the elementary & middle school students in the county. Understanding arts are essential in the education of successful students who can think, imagine, and create.
